Office Manager
Yaira Gomez is the Office Manager at Sunshine Dentistry, bringing over nine years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of South Florida. She ensures the office runs smoothly, coordinates patient care, and supports the team with both professionalism and warmth. Known for her attention to detail and friendly demeanor, Yaira makes every patient feel comfortable and cared for. Outside of work, she enjoys going to the beach, traveling, and spending time with her two dogs, Bonnie and Clyde.
Freddie
Dental Assistant
Freddie is a Certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant with 10 years of hands-on experience in the dental field. After graduating from Concorde Career Institute in 2016, Freddie has dedicated his career to helping patients achieve their dental goals and maintain strong oral health. Known for his friendly approach and attention to detail, Freddie finds the most rewarding part of his job is making a positive impact on patients’ confidence and well-being. When he’s not in the office, you can find him unwinding with video games or enjoying his favorite music.
Lidaisis
Dental Assistant
Lidaisis is a dental assistant with a concentration in dental prosthetics. She has over 10 years of experience. She graduated from “Salvador Allende” University in Havana, Cuba. She is passionate about restoring smiles and improving my patients’ confidence and quality of life. Lidaisis is proud to provide high-quality, personalized care at Sunshine Dentistry. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and watching TV.
Laura
Dental Hygienist
Laura is a Certified Registered Dental Hygienist (CRDH) with anesthesia certification, bringing advanced clinical skills and compassionate care to Sunshine Dentistry since 2024. Born and raised in Cuba, she moved to Tampa eight years ago and graduated from Hillsborough Community College’s competitive Dental Hygiene program, earning the prestigious Golden Scaler Award for clinical excellence. With expertise in preventive care, patient education, and pain management, Laura is committed to helping patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles in a comfortable setting.
Zuni
Dental Hygienist
Zuni began her dental career at the Universidad Central del Este in the Dominican Republic, where she earned her degree in Dentistry, later completing advanced training in Endodontics at the Universidad Católica de Santo Domingo. With over 15 years of experience, dentistry has always been her passion. After relocating to Tampa, she pursued her Dental Hygienist license to continue practicing and caring for patients. As a dedicated and compassionate dental professional, she is committed to providing the highest quality care while creating a positive and comfortable experience for every patient. At Sunshine Dentistry, her goal is to make a meaningful contribution to the health and well-being of all those she treats.
Sarah
Insurance Coordinator
With over 8 years of experience in the dental field, Sarah helps our patients navigate their dental insurance with ease and confidence, ensuring they understand their benefits and get the most out of their coverage. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring her creativity through art, listening to music, and spending quality time with her family.
