Daira Avila, D.M.D.Dentist in Tampa, FL
Dr. Avila is a proud graduate of the University of Florida, where she received both her Doctorate in Dental Medicine and undergraduate degrees. (Go Gators!). Dr. Daira Avila strives to obtain not only functional, healthy smiles that last a lifetime but also beautiful aesthetic results. She has significant experience in creating life-like ceramic crowns, veneers, tooth-colored restorations, and restorations of dental implants. Dr. Avila is committed to a lifetime of learning, and has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education focused on the latest technology and techniques in cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, and oral surgery, and is INVISALIGN certified. Dr. Avila prides herself on listening to and educating her patients, so that they can be active and informed participants in their own treatment.
Dr. Avila is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
In her spare time, Dr. Avila volunteers dental services to underprivileged communities throughout Florida and the Caribbean. She enjoys visiting new countries and trying new cuisines with her husband. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
